Our molds define new standards.

Liant Molds is the pure engineering division of Liant Technologies. We design injection molds and parts for the automotive industry — with Moldflow simulation, DFM and the highest standards of global OEMs and Tier 1s.

We don't sell molds.
We sell productive certainty.

A poorly designed automotive mold means millions lost in production. A well-designed one means years without surprises. That difference is won at the desk, before the shop floor.

// 01 · Co-design

We start at the part, not the mold

Before defining the tooling construction, we analyze the part with the customer's engineering team. We evaluate wall thicknesses, draft angles, stress concentration zones and manufacturing feasibility — identifying incompatibilities that at the steel stage represent weeks of delay and unbudgeted cost.

// 02 · Simulation first

We iterate in software, not in metal

Every mold goes through full Moldflow simulation: filling, pressure, temperature, warpage and weld lines. Design iterations are resolved virtually, before steel cutting — eliminating the trial-modification-rework cycle that erodes the budget and launch program.

// 03 · Premium standards

Hardened steels, extended productive life

We specify steels and heat treatments based on the required production volume and material to be processed. Conformal cooling systems, qualified hot runners and controlled surface finishes — designed to maintain dimensional repeatability across millions of cycles, without unplanned interventions.

// 04 · Delivery through SOP

We accompany you through the first stable run

Delivery doesn't end with mold shipment. We perform startup at the customer's plant, process parameter optimization and fine-tuning until conforming parts are obtained under real production conditions. Complete process documentation included for transfer to the manufacturing team.

// Engineering capabilities

From idea to SOP, under one roof.

Four disciplines we execute as a single engineering flow. No handoffs, no information loss, no external suppliers in the critical path.

// 01 · Part design

DFM and co-design

We take the customer's conceptual geometry and optimize it for manufacturing. We detect risks before they become costs.

  • Manufacturability analysis (DFM)
  • Wall thickness and radius optimization
  • Parting lines and draft angles
  • Mass reduction / topology optimization
// 02 · Mold design

High-precision automotive tooling

Complete mold design — from cavity layout to the last component. Premium steels and construction for long cycle life.

  • Multi-cavity, family molds, stack molds
  • Insert molding and over-molding tooling
  • Qualified hot runner systems
  • Complex ejection systems
// 03 · CAE simulation

Moldflow and virtual validation

We predict mold behavior before cutting. We reduce modifications, waste and trial cycles.

  • Fill and pack analysis
  • Weld lines and air traps
  • Warpage and differential shrinkage
  • Conformal cooling and thermal balancing
// 04 · Validation and SOP

Through to the production part

We accompany T0, T1, T2 trials through SOP. We document parameters, deliver the qualified mold ready to inject in-plant.

  • Machine trials with real parts
  • Production parameter optimization
  • PPAP / customer submission
  • Maintenance documentation

// Do you have an automotive part in mind?

Let's talk about the mold before it's too late to change it.

The most profitable conversation you'll have in your program is the first one with the engineering team. Send us your geometry — or just the idea — and we'll get back to you with a preliminary analysis.
